Stink is not how we would describe it, but the smell depends on the type of paint as there are a wide variety of brands and products in the market. Paint Definity does not smell like it use as most brands now use water-based product instead of an oil-based one. For individuals highly sensitive to odor we can recommend products with less-to-no odor. Additionally, we recommend that when painting is being done or if it has been done that it is so in a well ventilated area (open windows and doors), and keep ventilated (if possible for 24 hours).

Paint has a very specific smell that is not always pleasant. Certain brands and products designed for specific purposes will have much stronger odor, however, if applied in well ventilated areas should never leave a lingering odor that last more than 24-48 hours. However, if you just cant get that smell out of the room we recommend keeping windows and doors open (if possible) up to 24 hours after the painting has completed. Additionally, you can wash your fabrics that way have been in the area when painting was being completed (Wash your Pillows, Sheets, Blankets, Clothes and Curtains).
